These terms govern your use of LayerFlow, including the web application at layerflow.dev and the `lf` command-line client.
By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
LayerFlow is a guardrail layer for AI agents. It provides an OpenAI-compatible gateway, hard budget enforcement, agent tooling, and an audit trail.
We provide the infrastructure. Model inference is performed by third-party providers you select and pay for directly. We do not resell model usage and take no margin on it.
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account secure.
You are responsible for activity under your account, including any API keys you store with us.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
Tell us promptly at rjdhav67@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
You agree not to use LayerFlow to:
Violate any law, or infringe anyone else's rights.
Send unlawful, abusive, or harmful content to any model provider.
Attempt to circumvent your own budget caps. The cap is a control you set; defeating it defeats the purpose of the product.
Probe, scan, or attack the service, or interfere with other users.
Use the service to build something that violates a provider's terms of service.
If we reasonably believe you are breaching this section, we may suspend your access. We will tell you why.
You keep all ownership of the prompts, files, and other content you send through LayerFlow.
You grant us only the narrow licence needed to operate the service for you: to transmit your content to the model provider you selected, to store it as you configured, and to display it back to you.
We do not use your content to train models. We do not sell it. See the Privacy Policy for detail.
You are responsible for the API keys you connect. If you use direct mode, your key is never written to our systems; if you store it, it is encrypted with AES-256-GCM and the encryption key is held separately from the database.
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor. Prices are listed on the pricing page.
If you exceed your plan's limits, we will stop requests rather than charge you more without consent. Budget caps you set are always enforced first — a cap is a hard limit, not a suggestion.
You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
Refunds: if we fail to provide the service, tell us and we will refund the affected period. We do not refund a period you simply chose not to use.
Prices may change. We will give at least 30 days' notice before any increase applies to your next renewal.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The service is provided on an as-is basis.
Our budget enforcement fails closed by default: if we cannot measure or enforce a request, we reject it. This is deliberate. You may opt into fail-open behaviour in your settings, in which case requests pass through when our enforcement is unavailable — understand that this trades enforcement for availability.
If the service is down, your own applications that route through the gateway may be affected. Plan for a fallback base URL if your application cannot tolerate that.
Requests are forwarded to third-party model providers under their own terms and acceptable-use policies. You are responsible for complying with them.
Do not send us or our providers content you lack the right to process.
We may suspend a request that a provider rejects, or that we reasonably believe violates a provider's policy.
Each party will protect the other's confidential information using at least reasonable care, and use it only to perform this agreement.
This obligation does not apply to information that is public, already known to you without restriction, or independently developed.
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of this agreement is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profit, lost data, or business interruption.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the service, your content, or your breach of these terms.
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these terms, or if required by law.
On termination you may export your data for 30 days. After that we may delete it in line with the retention schedule in our Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email and reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
Before litigation, both parties agree to attempt resolution by good-faith discussion for 30 days.
Subject to that, the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.
